This unique, one-of-a-kind pen is created using a tube-in design label of a photo, this one taken at the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh, NC. It is a photo she captured of a variation of dahlia, which reminds her of sunflowers, one of her favorites! Gayle hand-cast the pen tube in crystal clear acrylic polyurethane resin, turned it, sanded it, and polished it to a glassy finish. This is truly a collector's pen!
