Lighthouse Series - Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, created by Gayle Akerman, is a Wall St. II style twist pen using a special, multi-step process which she has perfected. Finished in an exquisite chrome and gunmetal trim, this pen is quite unique! This one-of-a-kind pen is created using a tube-in design label of one of her original art creations. She then hand-cast the pen tube in crystal clear acrylic polyurethane resin, turned it, sanded it, and polished it to a glassy finish. This is truly a collector's pen!
According to the US National Park Service Website: "The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse protects one of the most hazardous sections of the Atlantic Coast. Offshore of Cape Hatteras, the Gulf Stream collides with the Virginia Drift, a branch of the Labrador Current from Canada. This current forces southbound ships into a dangerous twelve-mile long sandbar called Diamond Shoals. Hundreds and possibly thousands of shipwrecks in this area have given it the reputation as the Graveyard of the Atlantic."
The Wall Street II is a favorite, and this one is sure to turn heads! Wall Street II pens are all about the business, they're a little bit classy, a little bit executive, and a lot of fun and function. Wall Street pens are a perfect fit... not too big, not too bulky, not too slim... they are just right!
Each pen is sent in a complimentary velvet pen sleeve (no additional charge) - great for protection or for gift giving!
