Angel’s Envy® is known for its distinctive finishing process, aging its bourbon in port wine barrels to create a uniquely smooth, nuanced spirit. The oak used in this pen carries that history — mellowed by time, touched by craftsmanship, and transformed into a writing instrument with unmistakable character.

Each pen is individually turned, polished, and assembled by hand in my North Carolina studio, ensuring every piece is truly one‑of‑a‑kind.

Your pen includes a Certificate of Authenticity, which reads:

“This certifies that this item is solid white oak, made from an authentic ANGEL'S ENVY® KENTUCKY STRAIGHT BOURBON BARREL. Angel’s Envy is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Finished in Port Barrels. A straight bourbon must be aged for at least 2 years, and this whiskey is typically aged between 4–6 years in new, charred American white oak barrels. In the final stage of production, Angel’s Envy finishes the bourbon for up to 6 additional months in Port barrels. This process is called ‘double maturation’ or ‘finishing’. It is these Port barrels that provide the wood for this pen.”
